Girls Like Me Project invites all Chicago-area girls to celebrate our 14th annual Chicago Day of the Girl. Taking place on October 11, 2025 this year’s theme, “Girlhood in Bloom," is a conference-style event that features youth-led workshops, storytelling, live podcast tapings, and performances designed to empower and amplify girls across the city and the diaspora. Participants will explore creative expression, embrace herstory, build global sisterhood, and envision limitless possibilities for their futures. Join us as we honor the brilliance, voice, and leadership of Chicago’s world-class girls. Chicago Day of the Girl is perfect for an all girls field trip or service learning experience. Our programming aligns with National Health Education Standards; as well as Illinois States Standards in media literacy, language arts/literacy, social studies, and the integration of knowledge and ideas. Cost is FREE, but this registration is required for girls ages 11-18.
